After about 8 months of phone calls, emails, and text messages galore (T, U, and V squad – you know you love it), my people come to TRAINING CAMP next week!
That’s right – on Tuesday, July 10th I finally get to meet my three squads (about 150 participants) IN PERSON, hang out with them, get to know them for real, pour into their lives, and just walk alongside them (physically this time) during training camp.
For anyone who doesn’t know, training camp is 10 days where our participants come to Gainesville, Georgia for an intentional time of worship, teaching sessions, ministry, team bonding, and crazy revelations from the Lord.
Training camp is often one of the most memorable experiences of the World Race journey. Mine certainly was! I won’t go into too much detail in case any of my participants read this, but let’s just say it’s messy and beautiful in more than one way.
I can’t wait to update y’all after training camp and share some of the amazing things I know the Lord will do. So stay tuned!
Quick fundraising update – the Lord has started to put together an amazing team of monthly supporters. Those monthly donations allow me to continue to pour into the lives of 18-20 year olds as they prepare to leave the country for 9 months!
I do currently have a bit of a deficit – $374 to be exact.
Additionally, I am still looking for $330 in monthly donations. Would you consider being part of that by committing to a monthly gift of $25, $50, or $100? Any little bit helps and they are all tax deductible!
If you would like to donate either one time (toward the $374 deficit) or join my monthly support team, just click the donate link at the top of the page.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
